    Want to add some pizzazz to your college or career applications? Consider participating in the day long Ethics Symposium. There are 5 spots open for Shabazz. Students are given ethical dilemmas, then taught how to examine their own thoughts and biases about ethics.

Middle College

Middle College is geared toward high school seniors, in good credit standing and must be committed to Middle College for two college semesters. Middle College is free to eligible students that meet the following eligibility* requirements:

  • Income-eligible

  • U.S. citizen or non-citizen who is authorized to work

  • Selective Service compliant

  • Meet one of the following: (1) English language learner, (2) Disability, (3) Homeless, runaway or foster child, (4) Offender, (5) Pregnant or parenting, or (6) Basic skills deficient

  • Show career interest in health care, manufacturing or culinary arts*

  • Meet the minimum TABE  scores: Reading: 5.7, Math/Pre-algebra: 8.7
