Katy Ainslie-Wallace is the School Counselor for Shabazz City High School. 

 

I graduated from Edgewood College with a Bachelor's Degree in English Teaching and Secondary Education. After student teaching at Shabazz in 2018, I taught in alternative settings until I graduated from Concordia University with a Master's in School Counseling in 2017. I obtained my license as a Professional Counselor and Substance Abuse Counselor in 2018. My post-secondary path was not typical... feel free to ask me all about it :)

This is my first year with Shabazz. I'm here Monday, Tuesday, Fridays from 8-12, all day Wednesday, and out of the office on Thursdays. While I'm out of Shabazz I am the therapist for Horizon High School, and I practice in a mental health clinic in Fitchburg.
